ckck:

It’s been posted by others before but it deserves to be posted again; the trailer for David Fincher’s The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. I’ve been a huge fan of Fincher’s ever since I saw Se7en at a preview screening just before Christmas in 1995, knowing absolutely nothing about the film (mind you, this was in the pre-internet era) and being completely blown away. Hopefully Benjamin Button will be for Fincher what There Will Be Blood was for Paul Thomas Anderson in terms of maturing and branching out as an auteur of cinema.

You can also view the trailer in HD here, or read a nicely typeset version of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s short story here.

That’s gonna be an awesome movie. Highly recommend watching the trailer in HD on Apple.com

Subtle yet sophisticated is the way Jayson Whitmore, creative director at the year-old creative design/animation studio Royale, describes the company’s dynamic typography and animation work on the clever new ‘Happy Jetting’ branding campaign for Jet Blue Airways, created by agency J. Walter Thompson, New York. (via ventilate.ca)

Well done execution of ze finger trick.
